How to Perform Extensor Digitorum Stretch (Hand)
Standing Extensor Digitorum Stretch
- Start by extending one arm in front of you at shoulder height, palm facing down.
- With the other hand, gently press down on the fingers of the extended hand, encouraging the wrist to bend in the direction of the palm.
- Hold the stretch for 30 seconds, feeling a gentle stretch along the top of the wrist and forearm.
- Repeat on the other hand.
You can perform the same stretch when seated or against a wall.
